Angelo Plessas: MasterOfTheEclipse.com

Klausgallery.net is pleased to present new work by Angelo Plessas, whose prolific online practice of making website artworks dates to the late 1990s. His prescient view of the online platform as a public space for what may be considered participatory "monuments" is still relevant today, if not more so. Plessas is notable for the amount of influence he incorporates from the offline world into his online work; his titles, themes, and compositions are largely inspired by architectural works and literary passages. MasterOfTheEclipse.com is the latest in his long-standing series of interactive works which function both as portraiture and environments.
